Position Overview
The Facility Maintenance Associate is a part-time role dedicated to the upkeep of the premises. This position encompasses a variety of cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, waste disposal, surface sanitation, and restroom maintenance. The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $13.00 to $15.00.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive and may evolve based on the needs of the facility or events:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks according to established schedules.
  • Restock and report inventory needs for cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare spaces for events by executing housekeeping duties before and after activities.
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly as directed by management.
  • Adhere to all operational procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist in training new staff on proper cleaning techniques.
  • Review event documentation to understand specific requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding availability and scheduling.
  • Ensure the upkeep of departmental equipment and report any necessary repairs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

Qualifications
The following qualifications are necessary to successfully fulfill the essential functions of this position:

  • Availability to work scheduled hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License is preferred; reliable transportation is essential.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to follow instructions accurately as provided by supervisors.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards is preferred but not mandatory.
