Job Description

Hawk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Forest Park is a dynamic and rapidly growing automotive group with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding each customer's vehicle needs and providing personalized solutions.
  • Demonstrate new and used vehicles, including test drives, to ensure customers understand the features and benefits.
  • Attend sales meetings to stay informed about new products, features, and accessories.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Establish personal income goals and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Report to the General Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Take factory tests and become a certified salesperson.
  • Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.
  • Carry out sales, customer service, and job performance as indicated in the Sales Consultant Performance Checklist.
  • Must be legally and technically able to safely operate company and customer-owned vehicles.
  • Must be insurable by Company insurance company.
  • Must follow Company safety policies and practices.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.

Work Environment:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed
