As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the catering area at all times.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers and clients about menu options and special offers.
  • Operate equipment efficiently and effectively, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Manage the till point during service, adhering to established procedures.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations, reporting any incidents as required.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday, 10:15am to 2:00pm, during term time only.

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in customer service excellence.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
  • Catering experience is desirable but not essential.

Benefits

  • A competitive hourly rate of £8.91.

  • 28 days' holiday pro-rata (including Bank Holidays), with the option to purchase additional leave.
