Role Responsibilities:The Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for conducting and interpreting tests on patient samples using advanced laboratory methods. They supply medical personnel with crucial information to assist in patient diagnosis while upholding our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Required Qualifications:For Medical Laboratory Technician:
- Education: Associate degree in a relevant field recognized by a certification body for MLT
- Certification/Registration: MLT ASCP or equivalent
For Medical Technologist I:
- Associate degree with MLT ASCP certification & 3 years of clinical experience
- Approved Military Training (if applicable)
For Medical Technologist II:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Certifications: MT or MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required
