Position Overview:

Executive Alliance is looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer who will be responsible for the research, development, design, and testing of electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of essential functions to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and designs electrical systems, components, and products tailored for aerospace and defense applications, adhering to customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Creates detailed schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit board layouts, wiring harness designs, and assembly documentation to facilitate the qualification and production phases.
  • Collaborates with various engineering teams and departments to guarantee that all system requirements related to form, fit, function, and safety are met.
  • Leads engineering teams in the development of testing apparatus and qualification support equipment, establishing methods and conditions for product testing based on system criteria.
  • Oversees activities to ensure that manufacturing processes, installation, and operational testing align with functional specifications and client expectations.
  • Manages repair processes for production and field returns, ensuring effective coordination and resolution.
  • Works closely with quality assurance teams to enhance production testing protocols.
  • Coordinates with procurement and manufacturing to address obsolescence challenges and validate new sources.
  • Prepares and manages engineering change notices (ECNs) in compliance with configuration management practices.
  • Supervises the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in various installations.
  • Utilizes advanced computer-aided engineering and design software to execute engineering tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited institution, or an Electrical Engineering Technology degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
