Job Summary

The Admitting Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient registration process. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills to provide a pleasant and professional experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient/guarantor interviews to obtain necessary demographic and financial data
  • Explain hospital policies and financial responsibilities to patients and their families
  • Handle routine patient inquiries related to the registration process
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient data in the ADT system
  • Identify appropriate payor source for routing of revenue generated during the patient stay
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Current BLS required within 30 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Computer experience in Windows environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Medical terminology or demonstrated proficiency
  • Full command of the English language
