Maternal and Newborn Care RN Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Palestine Regional Medical Center. As a Maternal and Newborn Care RN, you will provide direct patient care and assist with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients
  • Cooperate with other professional staff to provide services that reflect the caring philosophy of the hospital
  • Under the supervision of nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care and assist with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
Requirements:
  • Current Texas RN license
  • Certifications required: NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS, AWHONN basic fetal heart monitoring
  • Demonstrated competencies in the care of the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patient and her newborn
  • Ability to function independently, and as part of a team
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, with ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills for optimal patient care
  • Demonstrates flexibility by accepting and supporting changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
