Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and assist with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Current Texas RN license
  • NRP certification (obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • ACLS certification (obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • BLS certification (obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • PALS certification (obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • AWHONN basic fetal heart monitoring certification (obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Demonstrated competencies in the care of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients and their newborns
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills for optimal patient care
  • Demonstrates flexibility by accepting and supporting changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
