At Scotts Miracle-Gro, we're seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our shipping, receiving, and maintenance operations within our facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work area, training and enforcing company policies and procedures, and working with all departments to maintain safety requirements and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shipping, receiving, and maintenance operations within the facility.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work area.
  • Train and enforce Scotts Miracle-Gro policies and procedures.
  • Work with all departments to ensure safety requirements and equipment reliability.
  • Direct associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize SAP to monitor and maintain inventory and quality.
  • Develop strategy for storage and distribution to maintain on-time delivery.
  • Train and develop associates in maintenance practices and loading/unloading procedures.
  • Work with the production department to plan and execute preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor and order services, supplies, replacement parts, and equipment as needed.
  • Manage overtime requirements based on manpower needs.
  • Set and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
  • Foster a team environment and engage providers to drive superior performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, or related study.
  • At least 5 years of experience in warehouse, production, and/or maintenance supervision in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
  • Knowledge of maintenance in production, equipment, facilities, and project management.
  • Ability to identify and coordinate outside contractors to complete projects and routine maintenance needs.
  • Computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and CMMS software.
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communication with great time management.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and/or hours within a seasonal business.
  • Strong administrative and planning skills.
  • SAP experience is preferred.

Scotts Miracle-Gro offers a competitive salary range of $75,000.00 - $88,200.00 per year, with various factors considered in determining the actual pay. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, and a 15% discount on company stock.
