At Douglas Aquatics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Crew Leader to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for leading and directing the construction of in-ground swimming pools.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret construction blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient construction.
- Layout design and excavate pool sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Inventory and verify received materials against shipping lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Train, guide, and monitor the performance of crew members to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Work independently for periods of time, utilizing carpentry and plumbing skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Safely operate track loaders, excavators, hand tools, and power tools to complete construction tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to company and industry safety standards.
- Ensure all company and individual tools are properly maintained and stored.
- Comply with safety rules and standards, including wearing steel-toed boots and providing a safe working environment.
- Preferred qualifications include shotcrete experience and a valid driver's license.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Clean driving record is desired.
- Dependable transportation is required.
- Ability to pass basic tests and provide steel-toed boots.
- Experience as a Swimming Pool builder, with expertise in Gunite and Vinyl construction.
- Preferably bilingual.
