We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-obsessed Program Manager for our Infrastructure Operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage requirements, budget, design, and implementation of assigned projects
  • Assess annual maintenance program requirements and build a rolling 18-month project forecast
  • Facilitate creation of Statements of Work (SOWs) with partner teams to be included in contract documents, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing
  • Evaluate performance and work product of on-site partners and escalate issues through Amazon leadership
  • Identify and communicate needs for design improvements
  • Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with operational teams, cross-functional Amazon team members, and partners
  • Lead and coordinate design and execution efforts between internal teams and outside partners, including equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout
  • Evaluate project risks and issues and propose actionable resolutions
  • Build strong working relationships with data center leadership teams across multiple sites and other internal stakeholders (operations, finance, safety, security, legal, procurement)
  • General knowledge of data center operations and facility management
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Ability to follow accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries
  • Proactively and continually improve your level of knowledge about data center relevant technologies
  • Walk job sites in uneven terrain. Maintain balance and perform construction tasks while on a ladder
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for 40+ pounds
  • Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb stairs, twist, bend, work above shoulders, grasp, carry, push and pull
