Position Overview

The Automotive Service Consultant Trainee will engage with customers, addressing inquiries and providing clarity on procedures and policies. This role involves direct interaction with service customers to schedule appointments, offer pricing information, manage recall communications, and oversee the courtesy vehicle program. Additionally, the trainee will assist with administrative tasks, cashier duties, and foster positive customer relations within the service department.

Qualifications for the Automotive Service Consultant Trainee:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a clean, valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the automotive sector or a related field
  • Strong communication skills are essential
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Willingness to contribute significantly to team objectives
  • Understanding of manufacturer specifications is beneficial
  • Experience with ADP systems is a plus
  • Must be capable of performing all job-related physical tasks, including bending, standing, lifting, and reaching
