Job Overview:

Fusion Cell is at the forefront of designing and constructing critical infrastructure, particularly in the realm of data centers and equipment installation. Our MEP Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of equipment installation, ensuring that all processes align with project specifications and client expectations.

The MEP Project Coordinator will serve as the primary representative on-site during the commissioning and installation phases. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, particularly UPS and switchgear, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Review and analyze project documentation, including drawings and specifications, to ensure compliance with design requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication among all project participants and maintain a centralized platform for discussions and issue resolution.
  • Quality Control: Implement verification processes to ensure that installations meet project standards and specifications.
  • Schedule Management: Coordinate project timelines with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee large project sites, ensuring that work progresses according to schedule.
  • Reporting: Serve as the main point of contact for project updates, maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Safety Compliance: Understand and enforce site safety protocols, including LOTO and PPE requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the electrical field, particularly in data center environments.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • NFPA 70E certification.
  • Journeyman license is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs.
  • Capability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
