Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise assembly and dispatch teams to ensure that all staff are motivated, well-informed, and working efficiently. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Assembly Oversight: Monitor and manage the assembly process to ensure that all cabinet products are assembled according to specifications and quality standards. Implement and enforce best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Dispatch Coordination: Oversee the dispatch process, ensuring that all products are accurately packaged, labeled, and shipped on time. Coordinate with logistics and shipping partners to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards before they leave the facility. Address and resolve any issues related to product defects or discrepancies.
  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously assess and improve assembly and dispatch workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement process improvements and cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are adhered to in both assembly and dispatch areas. Conduct regular safety audits and provide training as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of assembly materials and packaging supplies, ensuring that stock is maintained at appropriate levels to support production and dispatch needs.
  • Customer Service: Address any customer concerns or issues related to assembly or dispatch, working to resolve them promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly management role.
  • Skills: Familiarity with blueprints/schematics, proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly management role, strong knowledge of assembly processes, quality control, and dispatch logistics, excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to analyze data and implement process improvements, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, proficient in using manufacturing and dispatch software systems, knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
