Physical Therapy Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our physical therapy office as a Front Desk Coordinator.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the clinic's schedule.
- Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries about services, insurance, and scheduling.
- Verify patient insurance and assist with collecting co-pays or payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the clinic's database.
- Ensure the waiting area and front desk are clean, organized, and well-stocked with materials.
- Coordinate with therapists and staff to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic office equipment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience in a medical or physical therapy office is preferred but not required.
The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
