Job Title: Data Center Auditor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Data Center Auditor at Omni Inclusive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of customer data center suites to ensure compliance with ITAM goals and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Audits:
Perform regular audits of data center suites to ensure accuracy of hardware physically racked in a cabinet is being accounted for in our DCIMB (Data Center Inventory Management Database).

Verification and Documentation:
Verify the integrity and accuracy of audited devices stored within the data center suites, ensuring proper updates in DCIMB and asset tag placement on all devices. Document audit findings, discrepancies, and recommendations for improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting areas of concern and suggesting corrective actions.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and facility management, to address audit findings and implement corrective measures. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices related to data center operations and security. Propose and implement improvements to audit processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field or project management preferred
  • 4 or more years of experience in IT asset management
  • Experience with multilocation coordination of technical resources
  • Experience managing leased assets
  • ServiceNow ITAM module experience preferred
  • Certifications/Licenses ITIL Certification, ITAM, CITAM, CHAMP industry certifications preferred

  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure, networking concepts, and security
