Quality Control Technician - Day Shift

We are seeking a proficient Quality Control Technician to become a part of our team. In this position, you will be tasked with supervising audits of processes and products within your designated area. You will work closely with quality engineering teams to ensure that audit documentation is properly maintained and will undertake various other responsibilities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with quality engineering to obtain necessary audit documentation
  • Perform daily process audits to confirm adherence to control measures
  • Ensure compliance with specifications in the assigned area
  • Develop and oversee Quality Alerts
  • Assist with containment procedures for identified defects
  • Work alongside the color harmony team
  • Evaluate orange peel and gloss metrics
  • Support Color Technicians in their tasks
  • Handle administrative duties such as data entry and filing
  • Assist with additional assigned responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong skills in time management, business writing, and general computer usage
  • Understanding of manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication abilities
