At Saint John Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing laboratory tests and analyzing results.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, process, and prepare specimens for analysis
  • Perform routine and specialized tests to analyze specimens and provide data on patient health
  • Interpret lab test results and ensure accuracy
  • Follow quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid state license if the laboratory is located in a state where required
  • ASCP certification, or equivalent, required
  • Associates degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or completion of coursework in a program for MLT
  • 3 years of hospital laboratory work experience preferred
