Agricultural Conservation Specialist

At Hubric Resources, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Conservation Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the preservation of Berks County's natural resources.

The estimated salary for this position is $52,500 annually, based on industry standards and location.

In this role, you will provide technical assistance to the agricultural community in Berks County, focusing on Best Management Practice (BMP) design and implementation. You will work closely with other conservation district staff and the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS).

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support in planning, designing, and constructing engineered BMPs.
• Preparing site-specific designs for agricultural conservation practices and water quality BMPs, requiring coordination among various groups and individuals.
• Assisting with inventory and evaluation investigations, applying engineering principles and new technologies.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree or technical training in agriculture engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. An agricultural background or experience is preferred, as well as skills in survey, data collection, topographic map development, CADD, and specification writing.
