Position Overview

The Financial Operations Associate will engage in a dynamic, high-volume setting, tasked with the critical responsibility of ensuring that all invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests are processed with precision and efficiency.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices.
  • Organize and route invoices for review and approval.
  • Classify and input invoices and payment requests into the appropriate general ledger accounts, departments, divisions, and product lines.
  • Execute disbursements (checks & ACH transfers).
  • Prioritize payments based on cash discount opportunities and payment terms.
  • Maintain accurate vendor master data and records.
  • Reconcile and process expenses related to company cards.
  • Address inquiries from vendors, operational sites, and various departments within the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable or related fields.
  • Proficient in MS Excel & Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Accurate typing skills with a focus on speed.
  • Basic math skills with the capability to apply unit conversions to quantities and pricing.
  • Competent note-taking skills.
