Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of patients through the clinic, capturing vital data, and handling patient callbacks and prescriptions. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise clinical staff and conduct competency evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic experience
  • Capture and record vital patient data, including vital signs and current medications
  • Handle patient callbacks and prescriptions, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Supervise and train clinical staff, including medical assistants and other support personnel
  • Conduct annual competency evaluations and provide feedback to staff
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient data and clinic operations

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or related field
  • Certification/Licensure required, higher education preferred
  • 5 years experience in direct patient interaction in a physician office setting
  • BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Computer skills preferred
