Clinical Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Baptist Health System KY & IN. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of patients through our clinics, capturing vital data, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient care.
- Capture and record vital signs, medications, and other relevant patient information.
- Handle patient callbacks, prescriptions, and other administrative tasks.
- Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as directed by providers.
- Prepare for clinic operations, ensuring all necessary documents and supplies are available.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and other procedures as trained and certified.
- Conduct in-office lab testing, including glucose testing, strep screens, and urinalysis.
- Perform sterilization of instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Interact with referral sources, healthcare providers, and patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor clinical staff performance and conduct annual competency evaluations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or related field.
- Certification/Licensure required, higher education preferred.
- 5 years experience in direct patient interaction in a physician office setting.
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Computer skills preferred.
