Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child & Family Therapist to join our team at Compass Health in Oak Harbor. As a key member of our Children's Intensive Services program, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide individualized, creative, and strength-based approaches within the wraparound model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services using evidence-based practice models to support youth and caregivers in maintaining children in a least restrictive and community-based environment.
  • Participate in the rotation of an after-hours crisis/emergency response, including initial crisis assessment, safety risk, and outreach if needed.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child and family.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science-related field (MA, MS, MSW).
  • Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
  • Meets educational and training requirements for designation as a Child Mental Health Specialist (preferred).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical, mental health, or social services field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Evidence-Based Practices, or interest and ability to learn.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License, including vehicle and appropriate insurance.
What We Offer
