Job Overview

JPI is seeking a highly skilled Management Consultant to provide executive-level administrative support to a federal government client. This is a mid-level position that requires a strong background in project management and experience interacting with high-level federal clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate calendars and correspondence for two high-level federal client leads.
  • Provide input into project management-related strategies and action plans for projects of high complexity.
  • Assist in the review and drafting of documents and reports for clients.
  • Develop and maintain points of contact lists, organizational charts, and email distribution lists.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence.
  • Identify strategies for automating and implementing efficient work management processes.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM), and integrated master schedules (IMS).
Requirements
  • BA/BS with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Flexibility to pivot and adapt to changes in guidance/direction and ability to navigate through unexpected challenges and deliver solutions.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings.
  • Proven ability to support multiple taskings simultaneously in a deadline-driven process.
  • Building rapport with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders while developing a reputation as someone who is responsive, trustworthy, and mindful of minute details.
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships, including those with Senior Leadership.
  • Proficiency in the use of desktop computer and use of the entire Microsoft Office365 suite of applications.
Preferred Experience
  • Relevant experience in direct support of the US Coast Guard, Government Agencies supporting defense, Homeland Security, or law enforcement missions.
