Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy robust security frameworks to protect the organization’s technological assets and sensitive information.

  • Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, advocating for improvements to the existing security framework.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of security configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Assist in audits and compliance evaluations, providing necessary evidence and explanations of security controls.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide advisory support on security requirements for application and web development projects.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance security measures and address emerging threats.
  • Develop and implement security processes and support service-level agreements to ensure effective management of security controls.
  • Promote security awareness among users and manage training initiatives.
  • Offer guidance and support to IT personnel on security-related issues.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an IT Security role.
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network security principles.
  • Proficient in threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GREM, GCFA, GNFA, OSCP, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of developing effective long-term solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of endpoint and network defenses and security incident response.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to support a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud security technologies (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Experience in researching and identifying methods to detect emerging cyber threats.
  • Knowledge of data analytics techniques, including machine learning and data mining.
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of security technologies.
  • Prior experience in implementing security standards and procedures.
