Job Summary

This position requires a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to design and deploy security and defensive countermeasures and controls. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and SCCM, as well as knowledge of defense-in-depth cybersecurity implementations for air-gapped closed loop networks.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy security and defensive countermeasures and controls.
  • Engineer and deploy security and defensive countermeasures and controls.
  • Perform data and systems engineering functions to support cyber operations activities and systems.
  • Ensure system security needed in operations are assessed, established, and included in design and development.
  • Support operational systems and perform activities such as vulnerability scanning, network, and system security configuration.
  • Interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence, and other government organizations and agencies.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience -OR-
  • MS/MA or higher and 3 years of relevant experience -OR-
  • PhD and 1 year of relevant experience -OR-
  • AA and 14 years of relevant experience -OR-
  • HS/GED and 16 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience applying theoretical/fundamental computer science concepts through the design, development, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of computer infrastructure and networks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge or experience with Active Directory (User accounts, Computer accounts, Groups, Organizational Units, Group Policy, Schema, etc.)
  • Knowledge or experience with Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022)
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 Workstation administration
  • Knowledge or experience with SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Knowledge or experience working with Nutanix AHV
  • Experience with defense-in-depth cybersecurity implementations for air-gapped closed loop networks (DISA STIGS/Vulnerability Management/Encryption)
  • Knowledge or experience working with Tenable/ACAS
  • Active DoD TS and/or DOE Q Security Clearance
Additional Information

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance. Requirements include U.S. Citizenship, a background investigation, and the ability to demonstrate non-use of illegal drugs, including marijuana, for the 12 consecutive months preceding completion of the requisite Questionnaire for National Security Positions (QNSP).
