Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant in Mexico Beach, Florida.

Job Summary:

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input on student progress and setting goals.
  • Provide guidance and training to teachers and parents on strategies to support speech and language development.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Florida.
  • Certification from the Florida Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience working with children in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
