At Soliant, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Mexico Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language development and disorders, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support students' communication development.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input on student progress and setting goals.
- Provide guidance and training to teachers and parents on strategies to support speech and language development.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Florida.
- Certification from the Florida Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferably 2 years of experience working with children in a school environment.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
