Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and prioritize tasks for technicians based on project needs, deadlines, and individual competencies.
  • Oversee the distribution of work assignments and track the progress of ongoing projects.
  • Evaluate the performance of technicians, providing immediate feedback and assistance as necessary.
  • Encourage a collaborative and efficient workplace, promoting teamwork and innovative problem-solving.
  • Assist a team of 4-10 technicians on the floor, offering support with veterinary technical skills as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Licensed Veterinary Technician.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a veterinary technician, including skills such as blood draws, surgical assistance, emergency care, and intensive care.
  • Experience in supervisory roles with a strong sense of emotional intelligence.
  • Exceptional time management skills and adaptability.
  • Inventory management experience is a plus.
