Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the oncologist with incoming consultations
  • Manage the flow of appointment schedule
  • Assist DVM with patient assessment
  • Triage and acquire vitals
  • Provide nursing skills and support with any treatment and diagnostic requests
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples
  • Administer medications and sedatives as needed
  • Record and communicate patient information accurately
  • Safely and effectively restrain patients
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency and critical care setting
  • Demonstrated excellence in nursing care and critical thinking skills
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the role
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
