Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Support Caregiver to join our team. As a Support Caregiver, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to live independently and reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized plans to support individuals in achieving their goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Sevita team to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
