At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Internal Medicine. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented LPN to work in our Internal Medicine department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
  • Assist physicians and registered nurses in the comfort, care, and treatment of patients.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures and observe and record patients' conditions and progress.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies and maintain exam/treatment rooms according to infection control policies and standard clinic protocols.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, including temperature, respirations, pulse, and blood pressure, and obtain patient measurements, to include height, weight, pain levels, and others in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Current BLS certification required.
