Job Title: Extended Care Attendant

Milestone Recovery is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Extended Care Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our Extended Care Program, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with homelessness, substance use, and behavioral health disorders.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an individual who can provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the human services field and experience working with homeless and substance use disorder populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients throughout the shift, including engaging in hourly room checks and supportive conversations.
  • Complete and maintain necessary records and reports in an accurate and confidential practice.
  • Responsible for cleaning staff bathrooms and med rooms, including changing trash and mopping floors.
  • Arrange or provide transportation to emergency services when needed.
  • Respect client confidentiality at all times.
  • Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required.
  • A valid State Driver's license is required.
  • Prior experience related to the human services field highly preferred.
  • Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder population highly preferred.
  • Recovery Coach training highly preferred.
Compensation:

$19.50 - 20.50 per hour, based on experience. Differentials: +$2.50/hr overnights, +$2.50/hr weekends, +$5.00/hr weekend overnights.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Staff must have the ability to engage in basic cleaning tasks. Freedom of movement on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. May spend extended periods engaging in physical activity such as walking, bending, standing and lifting.
