Lifestream Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Professional to join our team. As a Medical Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the growth of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties:
- Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Accurately measure vital signs, including weight and blood pressure.
- Review and document patient medical histories.
- Reconcile patient medications and maintain accurate records.
- Document patient interactions in our Electronic Medical Record system.
- Locate and retrieve lab and imaging reports for patient records.
- Triage and process patient messages to physicians in a timely manner.
- Stock exam rooms with medical supplies and forms.
- Clerical Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.
- Check out patients after appointments and ensure a seamless experience.
- Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules.
- Reschedule patients who missed their appointments and follow up with them.
- Assist with optimizing provider schedules and adapt to walk-in appointments.
Requirements:
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Maintain professionalism at all times and communicate effectively with patients and referring providers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some Fridays.
- Medical Assistant Certification is preferred but not required.
- EMR experience is a plus.
