Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated professional to assist individuals and families referred by social service organizations in Middlesex County who are facing homelessness and require support in securing permanent housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with social service organizations, property owners, and governmental bodies to foster partnerships aimed at expanding the available housing options to mitigate homelessness.
  • Provide guidance and support to landlords who may be unfamiliar with the processes and documentation required by Public Housing Authorities and social service agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD's NSPIRE standards, verifying that properties referred to clients with vouchers or subsidies meet the necessary program requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a valid real estate license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or housing.
  • Experience with the Housing First model and collaboration with community organizations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in virtual communication.
  • Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply; flexibility for occasional weekend and evening work is required.
