A New Era in Business Development
Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to spearhead its strategic growth initiatives. This role will be instrumental in driving revenue expansion, exploring new markets, and fostering key partnerships. As a critical member of our team, you will work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute business development strategies that align with the company's vision.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing and sales management, with a proven track record of expanding business markets and client bases in the aerospace and defense industry. Experience in developing and maintaining customer relationships, creating presentations for senior-level customers, and managing new business initiatives will also be highly valued. Additionally, a firm understanding of successful proposal teams, capture, salesmanship, and product promotion will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities will include supporting the VP of Business Development in meeting Tyonek's strategic goals, managing performance metrics such as 'bookings' achieved, and overseeing the sales forecast. You will also be responsible for budgeting, managing direct reports from outside sales, capture management, and business development from multi-site locations, and participating in the development of subsidiary business plans and capture plans.

This position requires a Master's degree in Business or Engineering, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience. A strong background in manufacturing mechanical and electrical manufacturing technologies, including CNC machining, turning, sheet metal, welding, paint, cables / harness, SMT assembly, integration, and assembly, environmental test, and product testing, will also be beneficial. Experience with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) communities will be highly valued. The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 per year.
