Speech-Language Pathologist Wanted for School District

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech and language needs in a School District near Monticello, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student advancements and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to assist in establishing student goals.
  • Adapt treatment plans according to student development and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Minnesota state license or qualification for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Prior experience in a school environment is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
