Job Opportunity: The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Louisville is seeking a highly qualified Academic Otolaryngologist to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the Otology/Neurotology division.

About the Position: This is a faculty position that requires participation as a teaching member within the Otolaryngology-HNS residency program and clinical practice at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have clinical and operative experience in cranial/skull-base diseases, hearing loss, chronic ear diseases, vestibular disorders, and facial nerve disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the teaching and mentoring of residents and medical students in the Otolaryngology-HNS residency program.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and research programs in Otology/Neurotology.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to advance the department's research and clinical initiatives.
  • Provide high-quality patient care and participate in the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must have a MD degree and be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program and fellowship in Otology/Neurotology is required.
  • A strong commitment to academic medicine, teaching, and research is essential.
