Maintenance Coordinator 1

This is a full-time position based at the Administrative Office in Ullin, Illinois. The role comes with a comprehensive benefit package, including vacation, personal, and sick time accrual, holidays, health and life insurance, and an employer-sponsored cafeteria plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain agency vehicles, buses, and equipment.
  • Manage and prepare records related to service work completed on agency vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct lawn care and landscaping tasks at assigned sites.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator II to ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed for all buildings, playgrounds, and equipment.
  • Work as a team member to set goals, establish priorities, and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Identify potential safety, cleanliness, and repair issues and report to supervisors.
  • Conduct ongoing safety inspections of sites.
  • Transport materials, supplies, and equipment between sites, adhering to OSHA guidelines and other regulatory agencies.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience in maintenance work. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
