NPW is a well-established organization with a rich legacy that commenced in 1969 under the leadership of founder, President, and CEO, Larry Pacey. Initially, NPW, previously recognized as National Carburetor Exchange, operated from a modest 600 square foot facility where Larry managed all aspects of the business, from refurbishing carburetors to overseeing sales and collections. Over a span of five years, the enterprise expanded significantly, evolving into a retail parts outlet that catered to various performance lines.

With over five decades of experience in the industry, our objective is to be the leading provider of automotive parts and services while cultivating meaningful and enduring relationships.

Internship Overview

This internship opportunity will be hosted at the NPW Companies headquarters. Immerse yourself in the core of our operations and embark on a fast-tracked career path this summer through our automotive aftermarket internship program. This initiative will span 4-6 weeks, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of our operations and allowing you to apply your knowledge practically.

Interns will work closely with a diverse team comprising Operations Managers, Warehouse Managers, Supervisors, and Store Managers.

Interns will rotate through various departments, including:

  • Ecommerce
  • Operations
  • Inventory Management
  • Supply Chain
  • Customer Service

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program: BBA with a major in Automotive Management & Marketing, International Business, or Management
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Current academic standing: Freshman or above
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Proactive and capable of working with minimal supervision
