Physical Therapist Float Position

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide coverage at various Spaulding Rehabilitation Network Outpatient Centers in the Charlestown area. As a Float Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be working at different locations within the network. You will be expected to travel to and from these locations, using your own vehicle, and mileage reimbursement will be provided according to MGB guidelines.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and interact with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Deliver individualized physical therapy sessions, incorporating a range of techniques and strategies to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
- Supervise and mentor physical therapy students, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a PT in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- BLS certification required.
- Valid driver's license with access to adequate transportation.
