Job Summary

Autowhiz is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services, diagnosing mechanical issues, and repairing engines and transmissions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Services: Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections to ensure vehicles are running smoothly and safely.
  • Diagnose Mechanical Issues: Use diagnostic tools and customer feedback to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
  • Repair Engines and Transmissions: Perform repairs and replacements as needed to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Conduct Vehicle Inspections: Inspect vehicles to ensure all work is performed to industry standards.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe for employees and customers.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with customers about necessary repairs and service options.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an auto technician.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • ASE Certification: ASE certification is a plus.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and tools.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work efficiently and independently.
