Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - CMC Cath Lab Full-Time will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify potential diagnoses and develop effective care plans
  • Implement evidence-based nursing practices to promote patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Delegate tasks to other healthcare workers as needed
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
Requirements
  • Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside
  • Previous cath lab experience preferred; otherwise, MICU or CVICU experience preferred
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, lift, reach, stoop, bend, push, and pull. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in good, understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
