Job Description

Seeking a skilled OTR Service/Tire Technician to join our team at Southern Tire Mart. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing tire service and repair work, as well as basic general service functions on customer vehicles. This includes mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires, as well as troubleshooting and repairing semi-truck and trailer issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires
  • Troubleshooting and repairing semi-truck and trailer issues
  • Performing basic general service functions on customer vehicles
  • Assisting with scrap tires and other duties as required

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial and aggregate tire service
  • Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work late hours and be on call rotation
