Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production operations, ensuring that our production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, and that we are meeting our operational targets and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production process, develop a production schedule, and ensure that production is cost-effective.
  • Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of workers, review their performance, and identify training needs.
  • Work with senior management to implement company policies and goals.
  • Ensure that the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot problems or bottlenecks in production processes.
  • Participate in budget development and oversee cost and general accounting related to manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with Production Scheduling, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software and systems.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives and the ability to implement production plans to meet these goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and proven experience in implementing them.
