We are seeking a skilled reporter to join our team as an economic policy correspondent. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of breaking impactful stories and possess a deep understanding of economic policy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for covering White House economic policy, including taxes and spending, tariffs and trade, reshoring and industrial policy. They will work closely with our team to identify and break news on these topics, and will be expected to deliver high-quality reporting that is both informative and engaging.

  • Seek and break news on White House economic policy matters
  • Cover and illuminate the role of various agencies within the White House
  • Find broader themes in economic policy that set the agenda
  • Rigorously adhere to the highest ethical standards in preparing reports
