As a key member of the Acadia Healthcare team, the Healthcare Director of Business Office will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on key metrics such as cash collections, days outstanding, unbilled, denials, daily census, etc. in conjunction with the CFO.

The successful candidate will establish and maintain controls for all cash collected and posted in the patient accounting system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Effective communication with third-party insurance carriers is crucial to resolving issues that impede cash flow and detract from patient/member satisfaction.

The Director will maintain effective communication with the leadership team to ensure that all third-party compliance guidelines are met, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.

Additionally, the Healthcare Director of Business Office will select and monitor outside collection vendors engaged in the collection of facility receivables, reviewing and balancing agency reports to system reports and approving agency invoices.

Leadership and operational directives for all Business office activities related to the claims management and collections of the facility's receivables will be provided, ensuring timely and efficient cash collections to support the overall financial goals of the facility.

The Director will define and provide the necessary support and leadership to achieve departmental goals and objectives, driving success and growth.

Reviewing all statistical reports to monitor trends and determine operational deficiencies, the Director will implement corrective action plans as necessary, ensuring continuous improvement.

Close collaboration with Utilization Review and Admissions staff will be essential to ensure proper authorization of patient insurance coverage.

The Healthcare Director of Business Office will manage and direct subordinate staff to identify goals and objectives, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
