Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to ambulatory patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient care and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient care.
- Stay current with advances in nursing practice and healthcare technology, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least one year of experience in ambulatory care nursing, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
This position is located in the Ambulatory Care department at Rhode Island Hospital, and requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based setting, and will be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
