CAD Designer

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed design documentation and drawings for various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design frameworks for projects and collaborate with engineers to develop product drawings that meet specifications.
- Create detailed design documentation and drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assign project task scheduling and aid in the selection of materials for products.
- Produce final design specifications and maintain an organized file system for drawings.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years' experience designing models and parts in a 3D CAD system.
- Experience in Engineering Change Management and drawing management.
- Associate Technical Degree in a related field.
- Experience in SolidWorks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good typing skills and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Employees should have experience with and use Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in the appropriate areas of our operation.
- For general manufacturing & warehousing areas with MEDIUM duty, employees should be able to exert or lift up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
- For general office areas with LIGHT duty, employees should be able to exert or lift up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 5 lbs. of force frequently.
