Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for anticipating instrumentation and equipment for a wide range of procedures, selecting appropriate instrumentation and supplies, and ensuring a sterile environment is set up and organized prior to patient arrival.
Responsibilities- Anticipate and prepare instrumentation and equipment for procedures
- Select appropriate instrumentation and supplies consistent with Radiologist/Cardiologist preference
- Ensure sterile environment is set up and organized prior to patient arrival
- Assist in transportation and positioning of patients
- Use radiologic equipment and extensive knowledge in the use of an auto injector
- Competent at table side scrub in with a Cardiologist on various cath lab procedures
- Understand the use of an IVUS machine
- Minimum two years' experience as a registered Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility
- Interventional Neurology and/or EP experience strongly preferred
- Graduate from a certified school of Radiologic Technology
- Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license along with fluoro license and active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required
- BLS, ACLS from AHA required
